Athlete Registration-Family ID

Please note that registrations may not be approved right away. We appreciate your patience as we work to approve all registrations! 

If corrections are required on your registration, an email will be sent to the account owner outlining what corrections need to be made. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. 

The online registration for our student-athletes through FamilyID is now live for the FALL 2025 sports season.

 

FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our PIAA sports programs. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and/or multiple programs.

 

Returning Users: No need to create a new FamilyID account

  • Simply log into your account and enter your updated information including grade, team(s) and any changes from last year to your address and contact information.
  • Make sure your email address and phone numbers are updated and accurate.
  • Make sure you sign at the appropriate locations for parent/guardian and student.
  • Upload your newly acquired, dated on or after May 1, 2025, CIPPE Section 6 physical evaluation form
  • Once all the fields are completed and updated, click the blue Submit button. After selecting Submit, the registration will be complete.
  • You will receive a completion email from FamilyID confirming your registration.

 

First Time Users: Before you register…

  • make sure you are registered with SCASD and have your SCASD Student ID number.
  • make sure you have had your physical and have the completed and Dr. signed / dated CIPPE Section 6 physical evaluation form to upload to your registration profile.

 

Information Needed to Register

It will be helpful to have the below information handy to allow for the accurate completion of your online sports registration.

  • Doctor information
  • Health insurance information
  • Student ID and student school email address
  • Emergency contact information

New User Registration Process

Follow the below steps to register as a new user in FamilyID:

  • For students who reside in more than one household, please only create one account.  
  • You will have the opportunity to enter more than one parent when registering.
  • After you sign up for an account, check your registered email inbox for an Activation Email from FamilyID. You'll need to click the link in that email to activate your account.
  • Once you have activated your account, you will be ready to register for SCASD Fall athletics. On the FamilyID site, you will need to search for and select “State College” to locate our page and programs. You may want to bookmark this site.
  • Register your student-athletes for their desired Fall sports team(s).
  • Once all fields are complete, click the blue Submit button. After selecting Submit, the registration will be complete. You will receive a completion email from FamilyID confirming your registration.
  • Final approval will be completed and communicated by our athletic trainers.

Registration Deadlines

  • Fall: Opens May 1, Closes Friday, July 25, 2025
  • Winter:  Opens September 15, Closes Monday, October 27, 2025
  • Spring: Opens January 1, Closes Friday, February 13, 2026
