Athlete Registration-Family ID

 

FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and/or multiple programs.

 

RETURNING USERS OF FAMILY ID:

  • Simply log into www.familyid.com and enter your updated information including grade, team(s) and any changes from last year to your address, contact information…

  • Please make sure your email address and phone numbers are updated and accurate. 

  • Please make sure you sign in the appropriate locations for parent/guardian and student.

FIRST TIME USERS: 

  • BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

Please make sure you are registered with the SCASD.  Also, it is helpful to have your completed and signed (on or after June 1 of this year) PIAA physical forms to upload to your registration profile. 

 

  • INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER:

It will be helpful to have the following information handy to allow for the accurate completion of your online registration.

  • Doctor information

  • Health Insurance Information and insurance card

  • Student ID and student school email address

  • Emergency Contact information 

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

  1. Registering as a new user in FamilyID is simple. Follow these steps:

    1. First, parents/guardians create and activate your FamilyID account. If you have not already done so, create a FamilyID account here. 

      1. For students who reside in more than one household, please only create one account.  

      2. You will have the opportunity to enter more than one parent when registering. 

      3. More information on making updates to your family profile including adding additional family emails and information can be found here.

    2. After you sign up for an account please check your registered email inbox for an Activation Email from FamilyID. You'll need to click the link in that email to activate your account.

    3. Once you have activated your account, you will be ready to register for SCASD fall athletics. On the FamilyID site, you will need to search for and select “State College” to locate our page and programs. You may want to bookmark this site. 

    4. Register your student-athletes for their desired fall sports team(s).

    5. Once all fields are complete, click the blue Submit button. After selecting Submit, the registration will be complete. You will receive a completion email from FamilyID confirming your registration. 

    6. Final approval will be completed and communicated by our athletic trainers. 

    7. Registration deadline for WINTER sports on: Friday, November 4th, 2022

    8. Registration will open for SPRING sports on: Sunday, January 1st, 2023

    9. PLEASE NOTE: If your child played a fall sport, you do NOT need to complete a full physical. Instead, you need only to complete and upload a 

recertification form (Section 8) through your FamilyID account.
