Training, Conditioning & Preparation Tips

IMPORTANT: As with any training program, make sure you have clearance from your physician before beginning. If you already have a training workout, consider incorporating some of the ideas below. Don't overdo it if you haven't been exercising much recently.  See the physical fitness video below to learn more about progressive overload. Finally, always do a 10 minute warm-up and cool-down to limit soreness and injury.

Physical Fitness

Get Weight Room Certified

Improve your fitness progressively.


Build in rest days. Stretch and do mobility work daily.


Fuel your body properly.


Technical Training

Get at least 1000 touches on the ball 3-4 times a week.
