2024 Meet Schedule
Middle School Track and Field Meet Schedule 2024
Indicate your athlete's availability for meets:
Once the season begins, we will ask all participants to fill out the google form to indicate their availability for track meets. We have a big team, and we would like to give everyone an opportunity to compete. Travel meet spots are not guaranteed, and the final rosters will be determined based on athlete's availability and performance.
Track Meet Participation Info:
- Participation in meets is highly encouraged, but not enforced. If you have concerns about competition or are not sure what events would be best for you, talk to your coach.
- Practice Rule: Athletes must participate in minimum of 5 practices before they are entered in a meet. Make sure to check in at every practice to have your days counted.
- All eligible athletes will compete in the home meets. Travel teams for away meets will be picked by coaches. The criteria are: performance at practice, health, availability. We will try to let as many athletes as possible experience the away competitions.
- Bus transportation will be provided to and from the away meets. In addition, parents may transport their athletes to and from the meets if they like (signed transportation forms will be required).
- Athletes are allowed to enter a maximum of 4 events per meet.
- Larger Invitationals typically allow 2-3 athletes per event. Coaches will decide who will represent the team at those competitions.
- Middle School Championship in Altoona on May 11th will be the final meet of the season. Championship participation requires athletes to meet qualifying standards (setting marks or times in their events at any prior meets). Check the Championship information page for qualification standards. All athletes who meet qualifying marks are strongly encouraged to commit to the Championship meet.
