2023 Season begins November 17th
Practice runs from 4-5:30 pm in the South Building wrestling room
Be sure to register your athlete on the school’s FamilyID system by November 1st, 2023.
Girls Wrestling Open Gym Nights in the North/Delta wrestling room:
Monday, October 16th from 6:30 – 8 pm
Wednesday, November 1st from 6:30 – 8 pm
Tuesday, November 14th from 6:30 – 8 pm
Weight Certification/Hydration Testing dates have been announced:
Monday, October 23rd from 4-6 pm
Wednesday, October 25th from 4-6 pm
Monday, October 30th from 4-6 pm
Wednesday, November 1st from 4-6 pm
All testing will take place in the North/Delta building Boys locker room area (adjacent to the Athletic Training room).
** Wrestlers must come hydrated. Please be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day and avoid caffeinated beverages. Work on getting closer to the weight that you want to be certified at. **
Baseline Concussion Testing dates have been announced:
Tuesday, October 31st from 4-6 pm
Wednesday, November 1st from 5-7 pm
Thursday, November 2nd from 4-6 pm
Tuesday, November 7th from 4-6 pm
Wednesday, November 8th from 5-7 pm
Thursday, November 9th from 4-6 pm
Wednesday, November 15th from 5-7 pm
Thursday, November 16th from 4-6 pm
All testing will be held at the High School, in the Hub area just outside of the Roar Store located near the back entrance to the school. The attached letter from the Athletic Trainers office that will explain if your child requires a test prior to the season or not.

State College Area High School (SCAHS) is part of the State College Area School District (SCASD) and is located at 653 Westerly Parkway in State College, Pennsylvania. State College life is diverse and shaped by it's proximity to Penn State.
